How To Get Comfier For A Better Night’s Rest

If you feel like the number of hours of sleep you’re getting at night just aren’t enough, and you have a hard time falling asleep and then staying asleep through the night, then discomfort might be the cause.


You probably already know this if you’re uncomfortable or in pain at night, and you’re certainly not the only one suffering from this sort of issue. In order to solve the problem though, you must first figure out the cause of discomfort.


If the discomfort is caused by some sort of ache or pain in your body, consider sleeping in a position and using pillows that support and take pressure off of the affected area.


If the pain is in your arms, chest, or shoulders, you can try laying on your side and hugging a pillow to your chest. It will prevent the area from collapsing and straining. The same goes for if you have pain in your hips or knees - just put a pillow between your knees.


If the pain is in your back or neck, use supportive pillows and adjust them in a way that feels good to you. If you can’t get any relief from rearranging pillows and sleep position, you may want to try taking some pain medication if it’s still keeping you up at night.


There are a few other things you can do to make yourself more comfortable and relaxed before bed too. Try taking a warm bath, listening to some soft music, lighting scented candles, and putting on soft and comfy pajamas.


The important thing to take away from all of this is to learn to relax and don’t be afraid to treat yourself. You deserve to get a good number of hours of sleep each night.
